AI Assessment
You simply point us to your code repository and we take it from there. Our AI agent fully analyzes your code and delivers a detailed software asset description and software assessment. Optionally we can provide a code certification or remediation plan for any issues we find.
Software Asset Description
As part of our report we will describe your software asset in detail with minimal technical jargon. This includes
- How big is the application (lines of code)
- What languages were used to build it
- How complex is it
- What third party components were used
- What developers contributed to the code
- What files did each developer contribute to
- What sections of code were developed by AI
- What would it cost to replicate the software
Software Assessment
Using our AI tool we will assess your application and highlight any issues we find. This assessment includes identifying structural coding issues, third party components that have IP risk, security risks and maintainability issues. We will also provide actionable, detailed recommendations on how to mitigate any issues we find including whether some components can and should be reworked using AI.
CodeCover Software Certification
If desired the software assessment can be fed into our certification engine and reviewed by our team of experts for application certification. Certifications come in three classes:
Gold: code exceeds industry standards and has no high severity risks
Silver: code meets industry standards and has manageable risks
Bronze: code is operational with risks that require mitigation
Future feature: we are working on utilizing the output of our certification process to feed an underwriting engine to enable application-level insurance, the ultimate risk management vehicle…stay tuned.
Software Remediation
We can work with your in-house team, your development partner or another third party. In any case we can simply provide knowledge transfer from our assessment or we can play an ongoing oversight or assurance role. We can also provide a budgetary estimate on replacement or modernization of the application if needed. Once requisite remediations to code have occurred the application can be resubmitted for certification.
